My Favorite Summer Looks: Patterned Leggings

This post is part one of a little mini-series I’m starting called “My Favorite Summer Looks” which is basically anything I’m excited to try or buy for this summer.  The first look is the patterned leggings.  It’s a trend that I haven’t yet purchased yet but I’m always thinking of ways to wear them once I find the pair that’s right for me.  Normally, I don’t really like when people wear leggings as pants unless they pair it with a long top or tunic but this look is super sexy and personally, I think wearing them as pants is probably the best way considering the leggings should be the statement piece in the whole ensemble.  So without further ado, here’s the first look I constructed!

As usual with any of my Polyvore looks, I tried to add pieces that were actually affordable for the average person just in case there’s an item someone is looking to buy!  Hope you like it!

Weather gets nice, People get crazy!

Today was yet another nice day weather wise, in NYC, it hit almost 70 today. It was beautiful, breezy and sunny which of course means that people were dressed like freaks!

I don’t know if it’s like this in other states but in NYC especially, every time the weather gets a little nice, women think its ok to walk outside with short shorts, summer dresses and spaghetti straps. Then they get sick and spread their nasty germs, then before you know it, everybody around you has a cold!!!!

Please, Ladies (and gentlemen, you guys are guilty too!) save the summer wear for summer. You look ridiculous walking around half naked while the rest of us sane people are a touch more bundled up! Then you know what happens….my friends and I make fun of you! Just the other day I had a good laugh with a friend of mine over a guy walking down the street in 40 degree weather with a short sleeved shirt on, trying to look cool!

Not a good look people!
